The research laboratory located in Miyagi Prefecture(Shiogama City) carries out the research and development on new products and new technology from a variety of angles, in response to the needs of our customers. In 2004, this research laboratory developed the technique of manufacturing frozen sushi, subsequently dispatched technical instructors to the factory located in the Kingdom of Thailand appropriately for giving on-site guidance on manufacturing.
This laboratory is also engaged in the analysis and inspection of products. And the product development factory attached to this laboratory is creating the prototypes of products and manufacturing the products to be put on sale on a trial basis.
Japanese food culture widely penetrated into the European countries and the United States. Among other things, now "SUSHI" blends in with daily life of people in these countries to a larger degree in comparison to the way "SUSHI" blends in with daily life of people in Japan. The inspection for food hygiene in Japan in the past was conducted in such a way that final product is inspected at random by sampling.
In comparison to this past food hygiene practice, HACCP not only inspects final products but also controls all the manufacturing process. Therefore, HACCP is now recognized as the world standard hygiene control system.
